New profile tubes with complex structures

Werther, November 17, 2015 - Poppe + Potthoff Präzisionsstahlrohre manufactures profiles according to particularly high customer-specific requirements. A new internal multi-tooth profile has been developed for the automobile technology and can be used as replacement for broached profiles. Admittedly, the dimensional accuracy of a broached profile cannot be reached but the cost-benefit ratio is excellent. The product met the requirements set by the customer and is currently being tested for capability in the service life and misuse test.

Also new is a hexagon outer profile combined with a hexagon on the inside. It not only placed high demands on Poppe + Potthoff Präzisionsstahlrohre because of its dimensions. In addition, the need for a defined twist between the inner and the outer profile was a challenge that was met to the satisfaction of the customer. After the first delivery further orders followed.
