Nordhausen, 1. August 2013 – The experts for high pressure technology are coming to the Automotive Testing Expo, taking place in Shanghai on September 10-12, 2013. At booth 8015, the German engineering company Poppe + Potthoff Maschinenbau GmbH will present specialized machines that are designed for precision and high-performance for use in research, development and production.

This automated assembly and testing system by Poppe + Potthoff is ideal for safety and precision components. It visually inspects each element before merging several parts to a valve for brakes or airbags, for example. The finished component is then measured and tested for function and tightness at 100% and allows for high quality serial production in three-second intervals. Poppe + Potthoff’s Automotive leakage detection system is a combi machine for leakage testing at up to 500 bar, impulse testing at up to 142 bar, bursting testing at up to 480 bar, and low pressure testing at up to 30 bar fluid flow. Thereby different media, i.e. water, oil or transmission oils can be used.
